REASON FOR PARTICIPATING
There have been many people around me affected by this terrible disease and I feel this is a great way to not only raise money to fight it, but also challenge myself to something new in the process.
TOUGHEST PART OF TRAINING
I would have to say the rigorous cardio involved with the training. I’ve always been more of a picking weight up and putting it down type of guy.
MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF TRAINING
I really enjoy the sparring sessions. It gives you a great feeling to land a good punch and really humbles you to receive one.
HAS YOUR VIEW OF BOXING CHANGED?
I definetely didn’t understand how exhausting it is to actually fight three rounds. This has showed me how much stamina it actually takes to excel in the sport.
GREATEST SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT TO DATE
Winning a hockey championship, while coming into the tournament as the last seed and complete underdogs.
