INSPIRATION TO PARTICIPATE?
I was at the event last and it really got me going. It was a pleasure to see everyone working hard in the ring and displaying all their skills. With a mix of excitement and being a few beers down, I decided to make the move.
Boxing is a tough sport and something I wanted to get involved with, this was the best opportunity. Also being able to volunteer and raise money for charity really helped me make up my mind and remove any doubts about participating in the event.

HARDEST PART OF TRAINING?
To begin with it was just the thought of tough intensive training. Working out intensively for an hour took the gas out of me. Then came in the part of getting punched in the ribs and the face. All this has been tough but great learning experience.

MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF TRAINING?
Being the a great physical and mental state. Boxing is a great workout and a stress buster. Learning new techniques and movements. Boxing is much more than what your eyes can see. Meeting a lot of new and interesting people

FAVORITE BOXER?
Mohammad Ali

PRECONCEPTIONS OF BOXING THAT HAVE BEEN CHANGED?
Getting punched in the face is going to kill you!! All I need to do is throw punches.Having been punched many times and I'm still alive and kicking. Also learned a lot about timing, alertness, strategy and movement.

GREATEST SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT?
Achievements in school and college level sports like Cricket, football (soccer) and Basketball.
