INSPIRATION TO PARTICIPATE
By working at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, I get to witness the incredible work that researchers, health care professionals, and patients do everyday in fighting cancer. It is inspiring to see the dramatic new developments in science that help us understand and fight the disease. While this progress is and promising, but can only proceed forward if we provide the resources and public awareness to allow scientists to develop the next major breakthroughs.
I'm fighting in ABTB to help support research and raise awareness of childhood cancers.
HARDEST PART OF TRAINING
In my first sparring match I vastly underestimated the conditioning required to fight for 3 rounds. By far the most exhausted I've been in my life.
MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF TRAINING
Bonding with my training partners and coaches through the rigorous conditioning that we have endured.
PRECONCEPTIONS OF BOXING THAT HAVE BEEN CHANGED
