INSPIRATION TO PARTICIPATE
After rupturing my achilles a year ago, I was limited in what sports/activities I could take part in. Couldn't jog for 6 months after Surgery, couldn't play soccer until 12 months. For this reason I had to try a lot of exercises/sports that I'd never done before. Boxing proved a perfect opportunity to exercise, build up strength in my leg & the event provided perfect incentive to keep me focused

HARDEST PART OF TRAINING
Turns out I wasn't wrapping my hands correctly the first few sessions & I started to get pains in my wrists. I couldn't afford to stop training long term though so after taking a few days off, it required me to alter my training a little. I had to do press-ups on my knuckles instead of my palms for example. This along with back to back sessions in Redline was very tough

MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF TRAINING
Noticing the improvement in stamina over the weeks & the drills coming more naturally
