The Boston marathon is one of the biggest in the world and it's a great opportunity to participate in it. I became aware of the foundation after my friends started to organize A Bout to Benefit a few years back. It's a great cause and I'm delighted to be fundraising for it.
HARDEST PART OF TRAINING
Getting all the miles in over the course of the week. The long runs at the weekend can be tough, but you can get psyched up for them. It's the accumulation of the other runs during the week that can be the most tiring.
MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF TRAINING
Probably the final phase of the training, the miles taper down, you feel the fittest and the least tired. The anticipation of the race drives you on.
GREATEST SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT
Running a sub-3 hour marathon last October.
