Reason for Participating

I was a spectator at last years event and was inspired by the courage all the fighters displayed by entering in the ring. I wanted to push myself outside my comfort zone and try something new to focus on my health. Last but most importantly I've always been a big advocate for charity and have had a philanthropist nature instilled in me by my parents.

It's an honor to raise money for children's cancer  and if the donations could help save one child's life than all the pain during training and at event will be worth it.

Being from Brockton, there is a rich history of Boxing. I want to make my city, family, and friends proud by fighting for a great cause.

tOUGHEST pART OF tRAINING

Getting your cardio to an ability to sustain 3 rounds of boxing. I've grown up playing soccer my whole life and being in soccer shape is nothing like being in boxing shape. I have so much respect for those people who dedicate themselves to the boxing lifestyle and training regiment.

mOST eNJOYABLE pART OF tRAINING

It's been great to see the progress I've made not only physically with losing weight, improving my stamina, and strength but also mentally seeing myself overcome fears and pushing my mind along with my body out of my comfort zone.

has your view of Boxing changed?

I didn't realize how much stamina a boxer needed for a fight.

Greatest Sporting Achievement to Date

I've been lucky enough to have be apart of so many - but winning the South Shore League title with my childhood soccer buddies at 18 is probably my # 1
